Under the Shared Services Model, schools in the Institute’s portfolio can choose to opt in to discounted services from vendors they may already use. The Institute does not retain any funds from these contracts – it simply negotiates lower pricing on behalf of schools to help maximize resources. Edmentum, an educational services provider, offers several learning solutions that have been proven to positively impact student learning. Edmentum’s shared services agreement adjusts the pricing for various different programs by at least 30%.

MAP is a testing vendor utilized by many schools in South Carolina for formative testing. Through the Institute’s shared services partnership, Institute schools can access MAP’s services for $1.50 less per student.
Though PowerSchool is available for free for all schools through the state, schools can access the PowerSchool Enrollment add-on through the Institute for a reduced price. Contact jjones@erskinecharters.org for more information!
