GREENVILLE, SC – Cyber Academy of South Carolina (CASC) has been named a 2024–2025 National Beta School of Merit by the National Beta Club. This honor is awarded to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence by including students from all eligible grade levels in their Beta Club.

The National Beta School of Merit distinction recognizes schools that actively promote Beta’s four pillars—achievement, character, leadership, and service—across their entire student body. CASC met the criteria through broad participation in its Beta Club, which currently includes 117 members. At the National Beta Convention last year, CASC students earned six total awards, further demonstrating their commitment to excellence. National Beta is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in the United States. Its mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership, and service among elementary and secondary school students.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from National Beta,” said Jamie Scorsone, Executive Director at CASC. “It reflects the dedication of our students, staff, and Beta advisors who ensure that leadership and service opportunities are available to all eligible learners.”
The recognition as a National Beta School of Merit underscores just one of the many outstanding opportunities CASC provides for students to excel in academics, leadership, and service.
