She was nominated by leadership at her school for her notable contributions to the CFCS community. According to one of the members of the CFCS community, “Lexzy is a great example to students and adults of how a person of good character should carry oneself.  She does the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do!  And she does it with a smile!”

The purpose of the Institute’s Student of the Year Award is to recognize a student that has gone above and beyond in their school communities, both academically and culturally. These students embody the mission and values of both their school and the Institute as a whole.

“What an honor it is to have one of our students selected to represent the entire state!” said Ms. Lori Lindler, Assistant Principal at CFCS. “Lexzy is a pillar of her class and has contributed to our school community for the better.”
