2024 Holiday Card Design competition

Submissions are due by Monday, December 2.

Guidelines

Each year, the Charter Institute at Erskine holds a Holiday Card Design Competition. Students submit artwork for the Charter Institute at Erskine’s holiday card, which is sent to hundreds of stakeholders around South Carolina. All students in grades K-12 are welcome to participate – see below for this year’s guidelines!

  1. All designs need to be submitted digitally using the form or via email to [email protected]
  2. A PNG, JPG, or PDF file is preferred. If emailing, please include the name of the artist, their school, and their grade level in the message.
  3. All designs need to fit on a 5×7 card. Students can submit scanned-in, hand-drawn, photographed, OR digitally created artwork using the template attached to make sure their artwork fits the dimensions. Designs can be vertical or horizontal.
  4. All submitted artworks may be featured on social media or the Institute website with the artist’s name and school highlighted. Please email [email protected] if the artist’s name, photo, and artwork should not appear online or the student does not have a media release.
  5. The deadline to submit artwork is Monday, December 2.

Some suggestions for key elements of the artwork to consider – these are not requirements but just things to consider!

  1. A diverse group of students, teachers, families, schools and communities – don’t forget virtual schools!
  2. School choice is at the forefront of all we do!
  3. Don’t forget fun holiday elements and colors!
  4. Remember the Charter Institute at Erskine’s slogan “Move the Needle!”

The Charter Institute at Erskine’s staff will vote on the winner of the Holiday Card Competition and contact the winner and their school. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
