Montessori School of Camden receives MEPI reaccreditation

CAMDEN, SC – After a thorough review process and an on-site visit, the Montessori School of Camden has earned its accreditation with Montessori Educational Programs International (MEPI).

The Montessori School of Camden was first accredited by MEPI in 2017 and has maintained its certification ever since. A MEPI accreditation declares to all the stakeholders and the community that the school meets or exceeds clearly established measures of quality and has demonstrated commitment to the betterment of a genuine Montessori institution. Every faculty member at a MEPI-accredited school must be certified with a program that is approved by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE), and there should be clear community support of the school.

“In the Montessori world, a MEPI accreditation is the sign of a top-quality school,” said Head of School, Deb Cyrier. “I think that this accreditation is very representative of our staff and administration’s dedication to excellence, along with our rich partnership with the community of Kershaw County. I look forward to continuing to provide a wonderful developmental experience for our students.”
